ShoSoft was founded by Wayne Fernandez, General Manager of Magic Box Event Campus in Los Angeles. Wayne spent over three decades in the event industry before building ShoSoft, after realizing that no software was purpose-built for independent event venues. Every feature in ShoSoft reflects how venues actually operate, not how a software team imagines they might.

Asana and Monday.com are general-purpose task managers. ShoSoft is built specifically for event venue operations, with a calendar that detects booking conflicts, inventory that tracks your equipment, workforce scheduling tied to specific events, and invoicing connected directly to Stripe. A generic project management tool can't replace a booking calendar, run a ticket storefront, or manage exhibitor booth sales. ShoSoft can.

ShoSoft is built for small to midsize event venues: conference centers, creative spaces, performing arts venues, and community centers, among others. ShoSoft is not designed for stadiums, large convention centers, or restaurants with events as a side business.

ShoSoft is best for independently owned event venues that run events as their primary business (conference centers, creative spaces, performing arts venues, and community centers with teams of 2 to 20 people hosting 30 to 300 events per year). Yes. ShoSoft is designed specifically for small to midsize independently owned venues. The Essentials plan starts at $99/month and gives small venues a full operating platform (calendar, bookings, ticketing, inventory, and workforce tools) without the enterprise complexity or price tag of tools like Momentus or Cvent.

ShoSoft is used by conference centers, creative event spaces, performing arts venues, community centers, and other independently owned event venues. It's not designed for restaurants, bars, or hotels where events are a side business, or for large enterprise venues like stadiums and convention centers.

ShoSoft does not currently have a mobile app. The platform is web-based and optimized for desktop use. A mobile app is on the roadmap.

Yes. ShoSoft lets you manage multiple rooms and spaces within your venue, assign them to events, track availability in real time, and prevent double-bookings across all your spaces.

Yes. ShoSoft has a native Stripe integration for quotes, invoices, deposits, and payments, all connected directly to your event records.

Yes. ShoSoft is built for venues that run multi-day events. You can set different pricing per day, attach rooms and staff across multiple days, and see the full event footprint on your master calendar.

Nothing is deleted. All your events, contacts, and calendar history stay exactly where they are. You'll just lose access to features outside the Free plan (workforce, inventory, accounting, exhibitor tools) until you upgrade.

Yes. ShoSoft allows you to upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time. There are no long-term contracts or lock-in.
